Matt received a Bachelors of Arts with a concentration in Business Administration from the University of Washington in 1992. After graduation, he worked as a certified public accountant for Ernst & Young LLP. Matt attended Columbia University Graduate School of Business where he received a Master of Business Administration in 1997 and was on the Dean’s Honor list. After an eight-year career as an equity research analyst for Smith Barney/Citigroup where he had research responsibilities in areas such as insurance, specialty/mortgage finance and fintech, he joined DCLA in 2005. Matt holds the Chartered Financial Analyst^® designation and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. Matt became a partner of the firm in 2007.
